2021-2022 Celebrating Seniors Volunteer Awards
Celebrating Seniors Volunteer Awards was initiated to recognize and honour outstanding senior volunteers in Saskatchewan. Nominees are residents (55+) of Saskatchewan, who consistently contribute to the overall quality of life in their communities through their volunteer activities.
In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic SSM has decided to hold the next Celebrating Seniors Volunteer Awards Banquet in September 2022 (specific date to be determined later) This decision is made to ensure that a true in-person Gala can be held that will be safe for all ages.
Nominations that have been received will be held for the 2022 Banquet. A deadline for nominations in 2022 will be set and advertised in 2022.
If you are thinking of nominating an older adult in your community who supports others and contributes to the community, you can start preparations now. Consider what category the person fits best. Contact the person you wish to nominate. If they are willing to be nominated you can follow the instructions in the forms to get information, letters and pictures to support your nomination.
If you have any questions about the awards please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office number 306-359-9956 to leave a message.
