Home Supports is a practical approach focused on creating a framework where older adults can access key services that support positive aging at home. This means the Government of Saskatchewan needs to broaden its approach and funding for older adults. Research indicates that supporting older adults at home is less costly than residential care.

Older adults want to live in their own homes for as long as possible. Governments have agreed. However, government policy changes don’t reflect this. SSM intends to make this an issue in the 2024 election.
